Bridge of Love Ministry Of Amherst Baptist Church
As parents with special needs children, we understand the importance of connecting to other adults with whom we
can talk with to express our feelings, discuss thoughts, share ideas, exchange joys and sometimes the painful
circumstances that surround our beautiful children.
Support Team
Our church, Amherst Baptist, has many families that are affected by disability. The Bridge of Love Special Needs
Ministry was established in 2007 to help meet the needs of those families in the congregation with special needs
children. The ministry team (which includes many of the special needs families) saw a tremendous need for a parent
support group.
The goal of our group is to create an environment for all parents to share, discuss, ask questions and receive
support. The meetings are open to anyone who has a special needs child and would like to interact with others who
are going through similar circumstances. We look forward to meeting you.
