"Life Without Limits"
Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church

Clarence, NY - "You're Not Here By Accident" announced Neil Boron, Christian
radio talk show host of "Neil Boron Live" on WDCX Life-FM (99.5), as a packed audience of over 2,200 people
filled the main sanctuary of the Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church Thursday evening to hear Nick Vujicic deliver a
powerful and inspirational testimony about his personal 'life without limbs' and his coming to Jesus Christ.
Musician Mike Failla of Kingdom Bound Ministries & Awesome Worship opened the event with a praise and worship
segment that got the crowd ready for what was to follow. "Tribe of Judah" - the talented disabilities
singing and signing group - performed "Bridge Over Troubled Water" (Simon and Garfunkel's final album hit of 1970),
"Days of Elijah" (Robin Mark's mid-1990's classic) and much more, which brought the packed house to repeated
standing ovations.
Pastor Karl Eastlack, Lead Pastor of EHWC, welcomed the audience to his Church which graciously hosted the event.
Lida Merrill, Director of Spiritual Care at Heritage Christian Services, gave the opening prayer. Tricia Doricko,
Director of the Bridge of Love Special Needs Ministry of Amherst Baptist Church and Event Organizer, shared how God made
the whole event come together. Tricia then introduced Nick Vujicic.
From Life Without Limbs to Life Without Limits!
From the moment 26-year old, Australian-born, Nick Vujicic made his way to center stage until he closed in prayer
praising God for all His Majesty, he captivated the audience with his humor, deep passion for the Lord, and inspiration
that God truly has a purpose for each and every one of us!
At the earliest age of reason, Nick questioned his purpose in life and why God would create him the way He did. Born
with no arms and no legs, it was a constant struggle for Nick to understand how he could possibly live a full and constructive
life. Though he came from a good home with two loving parents, Nick constantly asked his Mom how God could create him in
such a way.
At the age of 15, Nick accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. From that moment on, he has received the power and
determination to make full use of his life, the way God intended it to be. And as each day passes, Nick inwardly grows
closer to Jesus while outwardly sharing his testimony to those seeking their own personal purpose and meaning in life.
The theme of Nick's message centered around his struggles between two opposing paths - the path of lies from Satan, and
the path of truth from God. It is something that all of us face each and every day and overcoming it and making right choices
requires constant focus and attention. And through the power of the Holy Spirit within, Nick demonstrated to everyone in
attendance exactly how it is done.
Nick's message was personified through visual effects. At one point during his message, Nick laid down on his platform
and spoke for about 10 minutes. Then through internal power and determination, he put his forehead on his Bible and thrust
his body backward in order to return to his upright position. Truly a memorable event that will last a lifetime in the hearts
and minds of those in attendance.
Inspirational Power to Deliver His Testimony
Nick is widely sought to speak to and present at government, school and other functions in many different countries. He
resides in Southern California, but spends most of his time on the road delivering his testimony.
Nick began the day with a presentation to the students, faculty and administration of the Grand Island High School. He
invited everyone to attend his evening's presentation. And from the resounding cheers each time Grand Island High School
was mentioned, it was clear Nick had reached those in attendance earlier in the day.
Nick summed it up this way: "...bring one more person to the Lord". And did Nick deliver on that message! More
than a couple hundred people came to Christ on Thursday, either for the first time or as a renewal of waning faith - from
youth, to teenagers, to adults alike. God's love and never-ending work made it crystal clear as to the meaning and purpose of
the life of Nick Vujicic. 'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you
rest.' (Matthew 11:28)
